Daily Scripture—Feb 4, 2015

 1 Corinthians 10:12-14 NIV

“So, if you think you are
standing firm, be careful
that you don’t fall!

No temptation has
overtaken you except
what is common to
mankind, And GOD
is FAITHFUL; He will
not let you be tempted
beyond what you can
bear. But when you are
tempted, He will also
provide a way out so
that you can endure it.

Therefore, my dear friends,
flee from idolatry.”

1 Corinthians 10:12-14 KJV

“Wherefore let him that
thinketh he standeth take
heed lest he fall.

There hath no temptation
taken you but such as is
common to man:
But GOD is FAITHFUL,
who will not suffer you to be
tempted above that ye are
able; but will with the
temptation also make
a way to escape, that
ye may be able to bear it.

Wherefore, my dearly
beloved, flee from
idolatry.”

Daily Prayer—–Feb 3, 2015

 Dearest Heavenly Father;

Thank You for revealing to me
the urgency to turn from anything
wicked in my life.

Lord, forgive me, for allowing
darkness in my heart.

Lord, forgive me, for allowing
the enemy to plant seeds of
doubt and fear in my life.

Lord, forgive me, for allowing
the enemy to lead me into
laziness towards my walk
with You, Jesus.

Father, forgive me for being
lazy in my pursuit of Your
righteousness.

Lord, forgive me for
the discontentment that
I have allowed to grow
in my heart.

Father, forgive me for being
lazy in my studies of Your
Holy Anointed Words.

Lord, forgive me for yielding
to the enemies whispers of
hopelessness and
helplessness.

Lord, forgive me for not putting
You first in my life.

Lord, forgive me for being an
idol worshiper……

I know now that I can make
an idol out of anything or
anyone….
self,
sports,
family,
career,
hobbies,
pleasures,
money,
even the act of spiritual
ceremonies and traditions….
there is no end to this list of possible
idols that can develop in my life
or anyone else’s…..

Lord, I pray that You purge me
of anything that I have allowed
to become an idol in my life…

Teach me to crucify my flesh
daily and pick up my cross
and follow my Lord Jesus in
my daily pursuit of
righteousness.

Father, I praise Your Holy
name.

Lord, I worship You with
my whole being
body,
soul,
and
spirit.

Lord, I will worship You
through the songs of praise.

Father, thank You for loving
me so much that You
take the time to shake me
to the core and discipline
me.

Your Word tells me that
You discipline those You
love…..

Thank You for loving me
in all my flaws,
in all my weaknesses,
in all my rebellion,
in all my laziness.

Thank You Jesus
for believing in me.

Lord, I love You more than
life itself.

Thank You, Father for hearing my
deepest heart’s desire today.

In the Mighty & Powerful Name of Jesus Christ
I Pray….Amen & Amen

Daily Prayer—Feb 2, 2015

 Oh Holy Father….

May my cry come before you
O Lord,
give me understanding
according to Your
Word.
May my supplication come
before You;
deliver me according to Your
promise.
May my lips overflow with
praise,
for You teach me Your
decrees.
May my tongue sing of Your
word,
for all Your commands are
righteous.
May Your hand be ready to help
me,
if I ever stray from Your
Holy precepts
I long for your salvation,
O Lord,
and Your law is my delight.
I rejoice in Your promises.
Great peace You give me
O Lord, as I yield to
Your word…
O Lord, I ask that You convict
me of any unholiness
that may lurk in the shadows
of my heart.
Lord, I ask that You
shake me,
rattle me,
guide me,
cleanse me,
purge me,
of any thought
any habit
anything that can keep me
from walking in purity
Thank You, my Lord for
hearing my hearts deepest
desire today….
I will praise You, my Lord and King
all the days of my life.
I will sing praises in sunshine and rain
I will sing praises in good times and bad
I will rejoice in the fact that You are
here for me,
I will rejoice in the fact that You will
never leave me nor forsake me.
I will rejoice in the fact that You
are not only my Lord,
my Redeemer,
my Healer,
my King,
But You, Lord Jesus are my friend.
I love You with all my heart and soul.

In the Mighty and Powerful Name of Jesus
Christ I Pray Amen & Amen

“We may not preach a crucified Saviour

It is not enough to wear an ornamental

Daily Scripture—Feb 2, 2015

 1 Peter 1:13-19 NIV

“Therefore, with minds that are
alert and fully sober, set your
hope on the grace to be brought
to you when Jesus Christ is
revealed at his coming.

As obedient children, do not
conform to the evil desires
you had when you lived
in ignorance.

But just as he who called
you is holy, so be holy
in all you do;

for it is written:
‘Be Holy, because
I am Holy.’

Since you call on a Father
who judges each person’s
work impartially, live out
your time as foreigners
here in reverent fear.

For you know that it was
not with perishable things
such as silver or gold that
you were redeemed from
the empty way of life
handed down to you from
your ancestors,

but with the precious blood
of Christ, a lamb without
blemish or defect.”

1 Peter 1:13-19 KJV

Wherefore gird up the loins
of your mind, be sober, and
hope to the end for the grace
that is to be brought unto you
at the revelation of Jesus
Christ;

As obedient children, not
fashioning yourselves
according to the former
lusts in your ignorance:

But as he which hath called
you is holy, so be ye holy
in all manner of
conversation;

Because it is written,
Be ye holy;
for I am holy.

And if ye call on the Father,
who without respect of
persons judgeth according
to every man’s work, pass
the time of your
sojourning (here) in fear;

Forasmuch as ye know that
ye were not redeemed with
corruptible things, (as) silver
and gold, from your vain
conversation (received) by
tradition from your fathers;

But with the precious blood
of Christ, as of a lamb without
blemish and without spot:”

Daily Prayer—Feb 1, 2015

 Dearest Heavenly Father;

Lord, forgive me for allowing
unforgiveness to settle in my
heart.

Lord, forgive me for allowing
unforgiveness and angry
thoughts to swirl around
in my brain.

Lord, forgive me for holding
onto anger.

Lord, bless me with the
supernatural ability to
love my enemies as
Jesus Christ loves me.

Lord, bless me with the
supernatural ability to
forgive my enemies as
Christ forgave me.

Lord, birth in my heart
the ability to be the
first to love and forgive
no matter what I have to
face from mine enemy.

Lord, forgive me for
becoming self absorbed
with my selfish thoughts
and ways.

Lord, You tell me in Your
word that I am to forgive
70 times 7 a day.

Lord, You tell me in Your
word that I am to forgive
to be forgiven.

Lord, You tell me in Your
word that I am to love mine
enemies.

Lord, I can not do any of these
commands with out the Love,
Mercy and Grace from You,
Lord Jesus, in my life.

Lord, help me to be Jesus
to the ones that are hard
to love.

Lord, help me to love
my enemies as the Lord
loves.

Lord, birth in me a deep
desire to love no matter
if the love is returned
to me.

Lord, birth in me a deep
desire to forgive, even
if I am not forgiven
by others.

Lord, Thank You for hearing
my deepest heart desire today.

Father, I will glory in Your
Holy presence today as
I walk with this great
new revelation in my
life.

Father, it is my desire to
praise You all the days
of my life.

Thank You, Jesus for Your
unconditional, unselfish Love
for me.

Thank You, God for Your
mercies that are renewed in
my life each and every
morning.

Thank You, God for Your
amazing grace that I have
learned to be completely
sufficient to see me
through my lifes ups
and downs.

In the Mighty and Powerful Name of Jesus Christ I Pray

amen and amen
